transtex® Light: test winner in “Bergsteiger”

The Löffler transtex® Light Shirt was awarded the test victory in a comparative test conducted by Bergsteiger magazine.

The Löffler transtex® light Shirt was awarded the test victory in a comparative test conducted by “Bergsteiger magazine”

17 different baselayers were subjected to an intensive practical test of 3000 hours and were tested in the laboratory in the most precise manner. The decisive factors were above all water retention capacity, air permeability, UV protection and abrasion test. Löffler’s transtex® light long-sleeved shirt scored particularly well with its short drying time and low weight. It thus won the test in the price-performance category.

“An extremely light base layer with a tiny pack size… Thanks to its high stretchability it is hardly noticeable on the skin. Sleeve length and total length are short. Sweat is immediately transported away from the body, the air holes in the material allow wind to reach the body and steam to escape. Due to the air meshes, the shirt is well suited as the lowest layer in the onion principle: air can collect and act as an insulating layer”, is the conclusion of the testers.

The test can be read in issue 1/2019 of the magazine Bergsteiger.
